6:00pm PERFORMANCE
Popular yola band, Al Mazyood Al Harbiyah, will perform Al Harbiyah, a traditional performance of music, dance and poetry that expresses victory, pride and courage.
6:30pm POETRY
Award-winning Emirati poets Hamad Al Hajri and Jaber bin Shannan Al Ahbabi will first recite Nabati poetry that explores the history of the country through stories of daily life and then engage in Mradeed, a lyrical debate between two poets inspired by photographs exhibited in Emirati Expressions and by the celebration of the UAE National Day.
7:00pm
Winner of many national and international awards, the sand artist Shaiyma Al Mughairy will create spectacular images in sand, inspired by UAE National Day and Emirati Expressions.
7:30pm FILM
Special screening of a film that highlights the artists in Emirati Expressions. The film, produced by twofour54 ibtikar, creative lab, will be introduced by the director Fatima Al Yousef, who is also a featured artist in the exhibition.
8:00pm PERFORMANCE
Led by Ahmad Shamma, the oud master of Bait Al Oud, four members of this important oud school will serenade audiences with one of the oldest traditional instruments and music of the Middle East.
D. Storm, the popular home-grown hip-hop artists who introduced rap, hip-hop and rhythm and blues to the UAE, will perform an energizing set stimulated by the contemporary images, ideas and forms in Emirati Expressions.
9:30pm Finale
Al Mazyood Al Harbiyah will return to close the evening with a special performance.

A slide show installation of historical and modern images of daily life in the UAE from the image archives of the National Centre for Documentation and Research, Abu Dhabi, the Emirates News Agency “WAM” and Abu Dhabi Media Company.
