The Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) is a master developer of key cultural, residential and tourism destination in Abu Dhabi. Other than TDIC´s projects and developments, TDIC´s cultural department produces various cultural programs which create cultural awareness to the people. TDIC promotes cultural appreciation through a variety of expansive educational programs. The programs, educational courses and exhibitions are usually held at Gallery One, Emirates Palace. Other events produced by TDIC include, "The Arts of Islam: Treasures of the Nasser D. Khalili Collection", "Picasso Abu Dhabi", "Emirati Expressions", and currently "Talking Art: Louvre Abu Dhabi". Another exhibition held all year round at the Emirates Palace is the Saadiyat Island Cultural District Exhibition, which provides an overview of this project. Visitors can learn more about the island and the plans for the five museums that make up the Cultural District; including profiles of the architects, models of the buildings and information on the cultural partners and content for the museums.
